“ local, family owned breakfast/brunch/lunch place. Big variety of flavored lattes, serves Roos Roost Lobster Butter coffee (unlimited for 4). Service is experienced, no nonsense and friendly. Don't steal the silverware, they changed to basic bc people were taking them. Easy parking too. ”
“ It was a quaint neighborhood eatery with lots of yummy comfort foods. My waiter was very attentive even while being busy with other guests. My food was so good that I ordered some to go for dinner. ”
“ Lovely little restaurant near U of M campus with delicious breakfast and fresh squeeze orange juice. Got a delicious smothered breakfast burrito and was not disappointed! Parking can be a hassle during popular times, but the lot across the street provides additional parking. ”
“ Northside Grill is a charming brunch spot that google says has been open since 1993. The menu feels fresh and well-curated, offering flavorful dishes that you'd expect at a breakfast spot. The brisket sausage and gravy is rich and satisfying filled with aggressive flavors, while the sausage links and eggs are equally tasty. Their corned beef hash, made with cubed corned beef, is a unique twist that my wife especially enjoyed. The atmosphere is a bit cozy, in a way where you might feel a tad cramped, but with so many positives, it’s easy to overlook. The staff is warm and genuinely eager to help, adding to the welcoming vibe. Parking is available in the rear and, on weekends, across the street. Prices are typical for Ann Arbor, around 15–23 per person after tax and tip. Portions are reasonable—not too big, not too small. Located just outside of downtown, it’s a great spot to enjoy a relaxed brunch without the chaos of the city center. If you're in the area, Northside Grill is definitely worth a visit. ”
“ Super cute establishment. Waitress was great and food was delicious It is very small on the inside. Thankfully, we beat the saturday morning rush, so we didn't have to wait for a table. We were a party of 5, and there were no problems accommodating us. I did notice they have pagers, so you don't have to wait outside, can wait in your car for your table. The parking lot is in the back of the building with additional parking across the street. There was only one very small bathroom, but I really appreciated the free feminine products that were there. Very cozy place. Amazing lattes, too! Also offerd a gluten-free menu and a menu with ingredients. This was great, as someone in our group is gluten intolerant. We will be back! ”
“ Great atmosphere and food here!! We had to wait about 25 minutes at 11:30 on a Sunday. They had their outdoor area set up for people waiting with heaters and coffee, so the wait flew by! Natasha, our server, was very efficient and friendly. They were good with coffee & water refills and the food was delicious. I like that they have special menu items every weekend and rotating baked goods. ”
“ Northside Grill is an excellent little diner for a quality breakfast experience. Despite the limited seating inside, I found it comfortably accommodating on a weekday with plenty of open tables. The atmosphere was quiet and had a charming old-time vibe. The food was delicious with generous portions and reasonably priced. The coffee was outstanding, and the waiter was friendly and attentive, ensuring my cup was always full. With the added convenience of free parking, Northside Grill is an excellent choice for breakfast. ”
“ You get what you get here, and that's what you came for: hole in the wall style diner with quick and friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and solid portions of good, hearty food. If you come any time near peak hours, you may be waiting for a table, and that speaks volumes to what they offer here. Don't miss it, it's a little Ann treasure! ”
